There are many challenging words in the Bible, few as challenging as Jesus' words in the Sermon on the Mount, and few in that sermon as challenging as those in verse 44 of Matthew 5. "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." If you find that easy to do, then perhaps you can skip this week's message by Pastor John, but if you're like most of us, then tune in and learn from God's word why this is a challenge worth taking up every day.
